Crochet to Brighten Your Day!

I offer a range of workshops in crochet from the beginner basics to more

advanced and developed designs and skills! I also have crochet kits and patterns for sale.

Sueย Gray

Hello! Welcome to Sue's Crochet Cafe.
I'm a qualified teacher living in the beautiful village of Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire and I love to pass on my passion for all things crochet.
Take a look at my workshop series from absolute beginners to more advanced skills and feel free to contact me with any questions. All workshops have just a small number of participants and are friendly, relaxed places to learn your new skill.
Book in for some fun with colour and design and explore a modern take on this historic, therapeutic craft.

We've created some gorgeous coloured Granny Squares an photographed them into lovely double sided key rings - they make fab presents for the crocheter you know...or for yourself to bring a little creative cheer to your keys or bag or any time when you're separated from your creative place!

New Learn to Crochet Class!

The Next Learn to Crochet a Granny Square Class is a three x two hour online course in conjunction with the fabulous Bev from BeingEwe .

June 25th, 10am.

This was a fun class - I seem to have created some more crochet addicts! Oops!

I have some lovely online crochet students having individual lessons. You can learn from scratch or learn new stitches or pick a project and we'll make it together.

While we wait for the UK to open up to group physical meetings again there are several ways in which you can keep in touch and keep crocheting together: I have some new patterns available on my pattern page; have been enjoying putting together beginner crochet kits with detailed photo tutorials (even more detailed than the blurb you get at workshops!) and have had some great conversations with "hookers" from all over the globe.

If you're thinking of learning to crochet or know someone who might to, send me a message or check out the starter kits (listed on the pattern page or on Facebook).

Keep enjoying your colour-therapy and mindful (or maybe mindless is more appropriate) yarn work; stay safe and keep in touch.
